Ok here we have update:

Carpet is in:



Dash is fully installed/ Mtech2 Suede steering wheel installed/ Stereo in the process




Glove box is in with new new lock and keys

Very impressive. What kind of fabric did you use for the headliner? I was thinking about going with suede when I replace mine...

Nope all hooks up as that panel came with the cables and they connected just fine! Thx!

So the passenger can control the radio while he focuses on driving. :)

I tried using this last year but the sides don't match up.

The left side of the panel, tucks into the lower part of the instrument panel.
The right upper corner is rounded and if you flip it, it doesn't fit.
So I'm curious how this will turn out.

I got this in my head when I wanted to install a DVD monitor into my E30.

A small update.

New molding for the glass and Glass- Installed
Stereo is almost done. Ran all new RC cables and redid a bunch of crap.
All of the locks are getting recoded to match. I don't want to have 4 separate keys. As I got all new locks.
Wiring under the hood is tucked and cleaned up. Lights are all working and functional. We are getting rely close. There is a lot of stuff that is small but takes for ever.



Had a custom Rear speaker panel made by a local guy.. Looks amazing.. Still need to install:





Got some protection too:



And then went over the entire bottom of the car to make sure that every bolt is tight and secure with no issues. Some of these pics are boring:










Still need to do the exhaust!
Installed Ryan G Splitter
Installed Electric Fan Relay kit
Installed Euro Headlight wiring kit from Guten Parts and Headlight Covers
Installed New Windshield Washer Line

I think my guys trimmed a small piece at the edge. I will look at it again. I want to use it. So we will see.
