yea my original goal was under $10k and keep it M50 N/A
.... its an addiction
yes, sadly.... I want to keep them and I probably will but money is getting really tight. Paying my bills, student loans, and two needy cars is killing.
contrary to that last statement.. I have more updates on the Z lol
Irrelevant 3:30AM updates...
getting ready for E-town and I decide that the Z needs a working Ebrake
picked up a hydro from CNC and started on the mount. Picking up fittings, hard lines, and reading my owners manual tomorrow.
I removed two screws and everything came apart... Nissan quality!
here is where I decided to tie in my hydro. The Z is wierd and the ABS is an X pattern so tapping here is easier then the MC and ABS block... I still need to switch my primary front / rear lines for this to work and my car will permanently have no ABS
notice the sweet lines to stop brake fluid from coating my floor, fuh
this came out and will be replaced by two T adapters
last, I cut a mount and welded some nuts onto it so I can remove the hydro if I sell this car (I will).
welds are ugly because you cant run a bead around a nut.... you have to tack the corners and let it cool so you dont distort the threads
na'm sayin?

Z's can do crazy things with wheels!
I am going to get a proper setup one day, but I really need to finish the e30 first
Thanks! I have been getting really lazy with the car lately... its so close to being finished but I keep getting side tracked and working a lot right now.
Here is the finished product with the hydro on the Z
Ready for E-town!
and two vids from the day... I missed 2/3 of the day from hitting a wrench on the track! :hitler:
This was my first time on the front course but still had fun

26.
So im sure you guessed I took a break from this pile... between work, women, and other white people problems I have been a bit distracted
I also bought another car but we'll get to that later... :)
Anyway, the Z is fun but heavy.... A/C is nice and makes my testies coool
BUT its pretty much sold so the e30 is my focus.
Got home from work and had the urge to listen to hipster music and drink vodka / monster... after I shopped for skinny jeans and flannel shirts I started to clean the garage
after the alchohol kicked in sh!t started to get did... first, I made some new rad brackets and it fits well.
found a tarantula living in my car... look at all those dead bugs and sh!t!
the big update is new axles thanks to some awesome local BMW guys letting me work on their cars. I did a few side jobs and I can now afford the missing pieces :redspot
Diff and DS in.
looks like it belongs there
drank a bunch more and forgot about the camera part... stuff got finished and I started listening to man music
on the ground!
Effin F, I didnt realize how small this car is... I am actually really happy with the outcome.
The alignment is damn near perfect (caliper style) and the height / look is exactly what I wanted.
the "TO DO" list is getting short... almost time
I am picking up a REAL 803 MAF on sunday.. DONT BUY A KNOCK-OFF! it doesnt work..Comment
