I haven't touched this car for a few day but I really have to get moving on it so as it is now 12am in Australia I am going to write out a list of what I want to get done tommorrow
re paint black mould on front bar
Remove and reprint front lip
Remove and paint side mirrors
Fit new front swaybar D bushes
Remove backseat and parcel tray
Let's see if I get it done :)

And congratulations on the progress on your car! I just ordered all of the parts for my new exhaust system and am impatiently waiting for them. I might have trade worked out for an '86 3235i parts car and I'm pretty excited about it because it would give a lot of the parts I need.
SO i have a few things to update!
1. stripped interiour
2. vacumed and scrubbed stripped interiour
3.pulled out the wiering for 3 differant decs and 2 alarms thats all shoved up under the dash
4.pulled out the old shit amp wiering I have no pics of 3,4 and 5
5.re-taped all of the looms inside the car
7.painted black rubber on front bar.
8.painted mirrors.
When i was changing the subframe over i was trying to get the driveshafts off of the diff to make pressing out the diff bush easer and the whole thing just poped out of the diff! the part that bolts onto the driveshaft and then goes into the diff is what had popped out is this a problem or do i just chuck it back in the diff? i have a picture below and circled the bit that i pulled out.
it cant fall off. its a ring clip that sits in a small groove. it basically keeps the shaft from coming out of the actual diff housing. sometimes the ring clip becomes collapsed allowing the shaft to pop out. take a screwdriver and bend the ring clip out a tiny tiny bit. too much and it will be a bitch to get back in.
