    Secured a T56 today! I was going to go automatic but my business partner at the shop offered the T56 out of his GTO for my TRM wheels to throw onto his vert. How could I refuse?

    My car is now on a set of basket weaves, which surprisingly, look great. Small price to pay though to have a lsx/t56.

    So the only things left are GTO pan/pickup, ECM, harness.

    The GTO is going to get a built T56 put back in. Don't worry. ;)

      Just ordered the GTO pan. As soon as that comes in I'll have to modify it, then out comes the m20 for test fitment!

      Anyone want a running m20? Going to sell it for swap funds.

            Sorry guys been busy.

            However, today I ordered an ECM, ecm tray, harness (already wired for standalone, just have to finish it up.), OBD connector (have to wire it in).

            Only thing left is a set of bigger injectors, and I still have to find a truck throttle body, but that should be easy. I may run the stock cam for now until I get a lil extra cash for springs/pushrods.

            However, I will probably hold off on finishing until I can afford the supporting valvetrain mods to put in the cam. I wanna go fast!

              These were taken with a GoPro, so they do suck... But it's all that I had on hand at the time.

              HUGE thanks for LSCustoms over on Ls1tech.com, he hooked me up with a sweet deal on the ECM, Tray, stand-alone harness, and MAF




              Engine, with accessories




              Went and bought a nice digital soldering station, going to need it to finish up the harness. Used it the other night, and I will NEVER go back to a traditional iron.

              Excuse the mess, it's not normally that dirty on my bench.



              Oil pan marked up for cutting, my buddy is a machinist for NASA, so he is going to pick it up and cut/weld it at his shop.



              No pics yet, but I ordered a set of Lunati Gold dual springs good for .660 lift, and some chromoly pushrods. As soon as they get in I'll be installing the cam/springs/prods. Once the oil pan is back we will be pulling the m20 and beginning the transplant! Needless to say I'm getting excited!

              This is getting pretty intimidating, but I am determined.

                Flex fuel injectors came in today, 33# so they should flow just enough for my power goals. Received the pushrods a few days ago, springs will be here monday. Now I just have to track down a throttle body, head to the junk yard for some EV6 injector connectors, and get the oil pan modified.

                It's getting close to surgery time here.

                  Apparently the guy who did the welding was not happy when he saw a used oil pan. I can imagine welding an aluminum pan that has been oil soaked is not fun.
