It's similar for an m30 also, and I think that may be cheaper because it's a SOHC.
    Yeah I am.

I need something faster than my m3!

I'd sell the white car as is, most likely.
Trust me, I want it s50'd like no other.

I realized I shouldn't buy it without having compression numbers. I'm looking into another one now.

Well things are getting quite frustrating.
This car is not in my name yet, therefore I cannot register it.
To get it into my name I have had to send off paperwork to two previous owners and this has been the biggest pain in the ass for some reason.

USPS lost the paperwork or something the first time. Now it seems as if its happened again?!

The back fees are now $600 :(
Its been tough finding an s50.

Its really tempting to give up and sell both e30s and get back into an e36 m3 and call it a day.

I've been focusing on doing the headgasket on my DD 325e for awhile.
Haven't done much to the beast.

only thing I've done is taken the insulation off this firewall panel and paint it. Looks pretty sweet

    Ready for an engine

Yeah, the plan is to sell it.

I was just going to roll with it being illegal, but that just stacked on top of the money factor.

I'm also starting to realize how unreliable turbo cars are and for the track the s5x will be much better.

Dont feel too bad, Im sure theres a way to make it a supercharged S5x and still be street legal.

I got it from ireland engineering a few years back for my first e30 and never installed it, they have since improved the design and very similar to the one Vivek posted below.
