Test fit the intake manifold. Gets me horny because it actually looks like an engine when its on

I also setup the the CCV drain to be welded on the dipstick. Have to wait till my buddy is free to weld it

Manifold touches barely on only 1 or 2 fins. Just going to shave them a little

Also got my selector rod today and put it on. I must have massive 5th gear lean, because the shift lever is going towards the passenger side quite a bit. It's also exaggerated because of the long lever

      UUC Stainless steel clutch line

      Installed

Air filter for fuel tank breather line

      Installed

Welded the throttle body coolant line shut

And welded the drain pipe for the CCV separator on the e34 m50 dipstick tube

Shaved the intake mani just to make sure there isn't contact. Also helps for easier removal/install

      Much better, no touching

Intake manifold is bolted up for good finally, well hopefully for good haha All new intake mani gaskets
Also all the coil packs are back in

Got the O2 sensors ran up to their plugs, this was fun. DO THIS BEFORE YOU PUT THE ENGINE IN

She is pretty much ready to try to start. I just need to order an intake boot. Already ordered a KAmotors CAI kit.

Just read through the whole thread, nice work man! Looking forward to doing this to my 325 down the road. I have an S52 that I've rebuilt the shortblock on. Waiting on tearing the head down and having it pressure checked, resurfaced and a valve grind/seals done and then the longblock can be put together. I still have a ton of stuff I need to gather up for my swap but reading through threads like this gives me hope that I'll get it done eventually.

I bought the AKG mounts and bushings awhile ago and I don't think Condor was making UHMW everything at the time.
He could have been. When I was planning on the doing the m20 turbo I was going to go poly everywhere, then when I changed to the s52 I just bought the UHMW mounts

I couldn't help myself from at least turning her over..
Didn't have an intake on and I later realized I also didn't even have the ECU plugged in, haha
Intake parts on their way :)
