The problem with re-machining a bottle cap is that in the end its a 14x6. There is little potential for this. I still like the idea of the project

I will be the first to say that if you had anyway of producing a 15/16" bottlecap reproduction they would sell like hotcakes on this site.

Aren't there 16" E38/E34 bottlecaps this could be done with, also? Even 15" would look good on the right car.

yah, I just whipped it up quick... not sure if a proper rendering would make it look better. I'm going to work on this idea a bit more... I think there is a decent design in there, I just have to work on the details a bit.

We are waiting for the Transmogrifier to come in at work. It'll be here in a few weeks, then we will definitely be able to do that. I'll let you know when we have it up and running.
