if you can make a whole new wheel in 16x8 I think you can make some awesome retro feel type wheels.

Well, I do know from experience that CAD designs don't always look the same when made in real life. I am going to try to get my spare wheel cut to see how it all blends out.
... and machining is the slowest, most expensive way to make something. This would not be a money maker - especially for old 14" bottlecaps.
Hopefully it all works out. I'll keep you posted.Comment

I really like them. In a light 15x8, they would decimate all.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.

I would for sure rock those in black. Really neat idea, subscribed to see how this turns out.Comment

Here's a different take... just the center hollowed out and some lettering machined in. Obviously you could add whatever text you wanted.

That's actually a superb design in a DS1 sort of way. I demand a 15x8 production!1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.

I will be the first to say that if you had anyway of producing a 15/16" bottlecap reproduction they would sell like hotcakes on this site.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
