Lookin sweet! The deep color late verts are my favorite
Perfect for cruisin low and slow (but in your case smoking the pants off of the next guy)
I really wanted the emerald green and kept looking for one but after this came along I've fallen more in love with anything similar to calypso. The hue is sexual.
I'm still looking for a green coupe or four door and I plan to swap it with an s50. When the vert is finished I'm looking to enjoy it throuought the year and then sell it off to fund an e30m3 build.
Either that or an s62 or s85 project. ;-)
I got a few updates.
Got my order from jegs for my wilwood compact master cylinders.
AutohauzAZ got me my Z3m radiator
So I started out mocking up the rear support for the pedal bracket. It required the removal of the steering column which I needed to swap with an early model anyway.
I then drilled the holes for the sandwich plate and covered them with rubberized rustoleum.
Got my master cylinders in. Bias bar all dialed in. Pretty cool workin setup. I like where it sits in the foot well. No I need to find some OEM looking pedal covers. Drilled steel looks ricey.
Other than that just more money being spent and more shit getting ordered. Blunt has been real helpful with my weekely orders! Love those guys.
Also got my valve covers painted. Crinkle paint is fun as hell to watch wrinkle. Quitte generic but I attest, it's still fun to look at and a lot cleaner.
More test fitting and still have the exhaust and driveshaft to get. Once again, I kick myself in balls thinking i'd do this on a restricted budget but it's just not possible.
I love that pedal setup. I want to do something very similar to it.
That so far is the most expensive part of the swap. The pedal assembly and mount kit start at $380-450 depending on where you get it. Since they are 1/8NPT master cylinders @$80 a pop ($240) you'll need 3 line adapters to get them to fit metric 3/16 line and M10x1.0 bubble flare ends. That's another $50 for adapters and then about $20 for new flared lines.
Since I'm cheap I've managed to do it for $700. If anyone does the swap, it's well worth the effort to use e34 booster setups. If you'd like to maintain a clean look under the hood and give yourself some more usable workspace, then this setup is somewhat worth it lol.

Damn! That is a pricey setup. I have 3 different wilwood MC's in the parts shed, I've been wondering if I could rig something up.
What bore masters are you running? What brake setup? Stock calipers/pads? Looks good man.
Thanks
They are 5/8 front 5/8 rear and 3/4 clutch. The brakes are Ti rears and e36M3 fronts with regular pads and rotors.
Same pedal assembly mount from Garagistic and they are the 6.25:1 reverse mount wilwood pedals.
I LOVE the coating on the valve and timing covers... looks great, man!
Thanks. I was going to hydroprint them a carbon or deep wood color but this was dast, cheap, and very effective VS the hours it would take sanding and prepping them to dip.
Glad to see the boosterless brake bracket work out for you. May we use these photos on our website?
Thanks a bunch. I'll try to get some better resolution photos soon but feel free to use these.
I still might end up getting a Driveshaft from you. Patiently waitin on the shop to return my calls.
