Bored s50 with bolt ons. Still 10.5:1 had to settle with Maxsil pistons due to a mix-up with my Wiesco order after 5 weeks of waiting. Around 230 wheel, but my gearing is a little off and I'm bored already. Once the suspension, mounts and brakes are finally all done I'm going back in the motor for more hp.

I wish you hadnt said that. Mine is in in the machine shop right now. I went with 86mm pistons from MM, s52 rods, eta crank for a 2.8l. Just ordered a set of 19lb injectors from maksv. Still trying to decide what to do with the head/cam choice. I wanted to keep it stock maintenance wise and use motrinic, with miller WAR chip and MAF.

haha, it will be fine. I just wish I'd built a bigger motor in the first place.

Such a great job you did with this car. I hope my 4 door iX will be this nice someday. Also will the s52 be boosted? :D

there is no S52, and no, it won't be boosted. :)

Oooooh, I guess I was misled by a post over on tech...lol.
Can't wait to see how everything turns out.

well, I have an S52 block, but it has a different purpose. :)

                            Picked up this:

thanks to somebody who suggested an E36 swaybar might work, I think I've discovered something. the E46 RWD swaybars are 99% dimensionally the same as the ix. you can get them from 21-26mm. I wanted to get a 21mm bar (stock is only 17mm) but this one is 23.

I think I will have to pair it with an E34 swaybar link, we'll see. I can use my adjustable ones for now. the only thing I don't have to bolt them up 100% right now is a bushing. crazy huh?
