Working on your parts and decided to see if you have a build thread. Low and behold. Always loved your car.

I think I just realized something...your username on e30tech. You have helped me out quite a few times over there!

Amazing car. It's good to see you still have interest in it after 10+ years!

yeah, I wanted the 21mm version, but ended up with the 23mm instead. the 21mm version came on E46 323i's and is plenty stiff enough in relation to the stock 17mm front bar. I'll probably want to couple it with a 17-19mm rear bar so the ratios don't get out of wack.

pretty much it should bolt right up, but I need to find (or make) a bushing first, and I also need a set of the bushing brackets to test fit with.

well, I have an S52 block, but it has a different purpose. :)

    Picked up this:

thanks to somebody who suggested an E36 swaybar might work, I think I've discovered something. the E46 RWD swaybars are 99% dimensionally the same as the ix. you can get them from 21-26mm. I wanted to get a 21mm bar (stock is only 17mm) but this one is 23.

I think I will have to pair it with an E34 swaybar link, we'll see. I can use my adjustable ones for now. the only thing I don't have to bolt them up 100% right now is a bushing. crazy huh?
