the car was not an IS so the premium speakers are added and i haven't had the time to cut the back deck and mount them. they are just sitting there. i have 4 new speakers to mount as well. ill do it next week.

those front seats look amazing Eric. side bolsters look perfect, and the cloth pattern is subtle just as you said. what's the story on the short shifter - what setup are you running?

Im running the z3-m +UUC DSSR and not really a fan. it's too short and notchy. people that drive the car have a hard time with it. i may get the rest of the UUC or normal z3 in the future.

the UUC DSSR is over priced. but hands down the best linkage. I've had them in 3 of my e30s.

rule #2 of my car. no eating or drinking in the car. i just drop the armrest down if i want more sound. and then close it the rest of the time.

Not only is this an amazing build (with a fabulous color) you're an excellent photographer as well (or someone is, haha.) The photos really capture the spirit of the build.

I wouldn't bother with the UUC SSK. I bought one with the DSSR, and I really didn't care for it. It's overly complicated, and WAY overpriced. I ended up putting the stock shift lever back in with the DSSR, and I'm pleased with it. Eventually, I'm planning on getting the Z3 1.9 shifter, which should be perfect.

                          Finally getting to the speakers
im installed 4 of my favorite e30 speakers Pioneer TS-D1320C
                          i epoxied the tweeters in.

then just installed and wired in.

quick test before i install them

                          now my ears are bleeding.

no other 5.25" speaker is as good or as clear.

marco u can convert yours. 88+ rear deck and 88+ light, then you will need to cut and splice in the new connector.

I disagree, the UUC shifter is the best feeling non-solid mounted shifter on the market.
