Hard to say as they are using perfect lighting. But from that picture I have to say it is almost the same. I matched my custom wheels to it and stocked up on 4 cans if it ever goes away!

I did ALL my trim, bumpers and the kidneys in the oil rubbed satin.

One thing to remember with the paint is to shake it VERY well to mix the black and bronze together. I found if you don't it is black in the start and almost a brown bronze at 1/4 can. I believe it is a 3 to 1 mixture.

Look at the back bumper's left bend, you can see the bronze POPPING from the sun light.

Much like my wheels the bumpers really hide their in person finish.
You can see the difference between the black chip coating and the bumpers.

Thanks so much Brandon. I'm gonna look into that color more, as of now it's my favorite option. Do you have a good pic of the color?

The paint is satin finish, I would not clear them as it would harm the dull finish. Trust me, I have been using this color for a few years now on my bumpers and shadow lining. Never flakes or has issues with washing of the car.

You could test out a satin clear on some metal laying around. I just have had no issues with the paint being used on my bumpers. Rocks just ding off and bugs wash right off no problem.

What is boils down to is; Prep and primer, NEVER rush layers. Just take your time and build strong coats. I HIGHLY suggest one can per wheel. It will take a few days to paint and dry with LIGHT sanding in between(every two coats 320grit). Wait 12hrs to sand or 3-4 in direct sun. You don't want to gouge and ball up the paint. Sanding=dust

If you take your time you will end up with cheap refinished wheels that would stand out in shows.

#1 rule to remember it prepping of the metal surface.

You can sand/strip till your arm falls off...it will never beat the even perfect finish of mediablasting.
With the price you will pay to paint them I suggest getting someone to blast them for you.
Layering paint will not hide metal base flaws.

This will sound cheap...but it works ;)

Go to an automotive place and buy a grey wheel primer(2-3cans)

Then go to Walmart and find Satin rubbed bronze(4 cans):

That color matches my wheel color in the sig almost perfect.

Lay two coats of wheel primer(even no runs). I suggest doing a few dustings for the lips to avoid runs(apply with wheel standing on edge). Or bolt to a junk e30 and spin the wheel and lay an even coat.
Laugh all you want at painting on a car but it works! Spin the wheel and paint at a 45 degree angle. It is even and perfect with no runs. Just remember to not apply alot or spin too fast. It will make streaks...I dust layers till it is built up.

    Repeat with the Oil rubbed.

See my euro bumpers for color reference. The paint withstands rocks from driving with ease. The wheel primer will avoid the paint from chipping or flaking.

In the end you will spend 16.00 on the wheel primer and 5 bucks per can of paint. They will be gorgeous and cheap. Repairs in the future would cost only 5 bucks!

A deep full bronze would definitely be nice. Something that pops enough to notice it but not as much as gold would. I'll have to look into the best paint brand/shade for that since spending $400 on powdercoating is really out of the question unfortunately.

I think a nice bronze would be amazing with that blue. Blue and bronze go perfect together.

Satin black face with bronze lips would be bonkers.
Most people I've talked to think bronze would be ugly, but I kinda like it. I really don't want a black face, but if that combo looks good in a photoshop I may go for it.

Edit: that's a good bronze. I'd rather have more of that than black, so would a bronze face and black lip be decent, or should I go full bronze in that case?
