    Vivek's Vert.

    So I thought I'd finally make a thread about my car. I have no real plans right now other than do little things on a daily basis to make it slightly better.

    Let's get started. This is quite a while ago (few months).

    Took a look at what's under the hardtop:

    Not too shabby. Too bad I couldn't get it down...so I took it out.

    New radiator and coolant flush, bmw blue coolant:


    Was pretty loud for a while:

    So I took it out and my neighbor (same guy who made my plate frame) welded it:


    Looks meh...no leaks don't care.
    Painted the VC (no afters yet):

    Really damn clean. like 194k at this point.

    Short shifter (z3m):


    Now I'm tackling my mess under the intake. It's my biggest job so far.
    This is what my intake ports looked like with no cleaning.

    Well I finished up my PS delete today. Need more parts before I can put the intake back together.


    Still need to clean the engine a bit but it's pretty good overall.
    This is basically how it sits right now, minus the entire PS system.

    I needa make an order with blunt for all the mess stuff that I need. Some of these hoses were split in 5 places on one end.

                          U got the hand tremors or what. I can take better pictures in the dark with no flash. Come on LBV. 4 cyl + heaviest e30 made = why?

                                          Sorry bout my one bad pic (and the one under the car but that was a hard space). Ehh it's fast enough to have fun in and it pulls nicely for an m42. I'm fine with it, at least for now.

                                                  save your money and dont buy VR intake gaskets. you can only take them off and on few times and after that they fall apart. Get a big box of corn flakes and use the cardboard to make intake gaskets.
