^ I think it would be an awkward transition given A's aren't 3 piece, even though the lip is very pronounced from the face. -
So what do you guys think of black lips with a silver center? I know these aren't A's but I'm just getting a feel for the colors. Look better than I expected. Since the A's are 17's I'm not too worried about them looking too small. Tires will be 205/45

Yeah they're 4x114.3. I think that's the only bolt pattern that this size came in. All the color wheels and such say that bronze/gold is a good complimentary color for a dark blue but that may be a bit much for me. Maybe a bronze center with a different color lip?Leave a comment:

Wait... are they 4x114.3 or something? Also, I don't think red would work on a blue car... I vote a champagne. That would be cool.Leave a comment:

They're 17x7.5, with the adapters the et is -2. I may have to do something about that but we'll see. I considered getting them professionally stripped and coated, but with a wire wheel on an electric (corded) drill and aircraft stripper it's really not too bad. I need some suggestions for color. I've always, always loved these:

I got the A's from a forum member from Socal, E30_fiend. I need to get them finished sooner rather than later. Someone suggested a stronger chemical to use in another thread and I think I'll give that a shot. As of now one is stripped and ready for paint, the other 3 still have a ways to go. And thanks for posting that pic, I think it's gonna be my next sig :D

Wow it's been a while. Well I got some Borbet's.
Wow these wheels are a bitch to strip.
Starting out, first coat of stripper:

How we finished:

Steven decided to help out

Gonna work on it more later, may add a thick layer of stripper on it and leave it overnight.Leave a comment:

Changed oil and filter, finally got an ebrake boot and handle on, and put on a new registration sticker.Leave a comment:
