Gonna get the tires unmounted sometime this week and start the dismantle/polishing process.

It's possible. Highly unlikely though lol.

I've also decided I really need to do a Z3 1.9 rack, rebuilt power steering and a smaller steering wheel. I recently drove a buddies S2000 fuhraze car around and it reminded how stupidly slow and sloppy my steering is...

I'm about to get started on my z3 1.9 rack install... Chris from Dungeon Motorsports sells the swap kit for non-airbag or airbag cars that comes with the necessary spacers and bolts and all I need is new tie rods. Of course I have to trim out a small part of my firewall to accomadate but all it takes is a dremel. 2.7 turns to lock is mucho better than the stock 4 turns

This has probably been asked tons of times, but what is your suspension setup? I'm running stock right now and I'm leaning towards a GC Coilover setup (with Konis), like yours. I'm just a little in the dark about what needs to go with it though. And, since your setup is perfect, I figured I'd ask the owner himself.
                    Thanks!

Ground Control coilovers on shortened struts, 450f 650r or 700r (I can never remember) springs, adjustable Koni's (1547 iirc). However, if you're mostly looking to go low, I don't really recommend Ground Controls. I'd go with Broadway Static, BC, or CATuned for going low.

the e46 330ci rack is another excellent rack upgrade. More available and cheaper than z3

all e46 330 racks are 13.7:1 (including the ZHP) and 3.0 turns L2L iirc
z4m coupe rack 12.8:1 (fastest rack I know of)
                          z3 non m 13.9:1 and 2.7 turns L2L

I'm looking for more of a good balance of low/dd, and I want to avoid having to weld anything like on other Coilover suspensions. I was told you don't need to weld Ground Control Coils unless you want to shorten the struts.
