    You don't have to cut and weld GCs. At that point I would recommend H&R race springs and whatever the recommended dampers are, though. You won't be able to get very low at all on GCs with non shortened struts

                        yeahhh... all I did today was split the one that needs a new lip and clean up the mating surfaces. I'm gonna pick up some sealant tomorrow and get it back together. After that it's just ordering tires and polishing/fixing curb rash on the other 3 (that's the part I'm not looking forward to...).
