The old Kenwood in my car had the worst user interface I have ever seen. It was borderline unsafe. We'll see how long this one lasts. I'm not too particularly attached to it and it was only a hundred bucks.

Yeah, if the e30 didn't have tiny speakers I'd be more apt to put in something better than a $100 head unit.

I put this Alpine in both my 4runner and e30. It's been a good unit so far, like the layout.

The new one I picked up isn't as high of quality as the old one but it doesn't have a CD player. That means more lightness. Because racecar.

hmmmm, maybe I should reconsider mine. haha

The JVC i picked matches the interior nearly exactly, and the only silver part is the stupid dial which you can pull off and rattle can fairly easily. Plus it has a large LCD so I can actually see what song is on ha.

Looks like they made the knob shadow black finally, might have to see how much the faceplate is, looks better then the old one.

Slowly fixing my muddy bass issue. I knew I should not have pursued electrical engineering lol. I'm gonna get a buddy to come over and help me tune my amp correctly. I miss the crisp and clean bass.

Tires should be here tomorrow. Rears should be mounted on Friday. Still have to polish and repair curb rash on the fronts but at least I can roll around on a full set for a bit.

Use some Airtools and blend it out! Here's a "Before and After" pic, though technically there two different wheels. You can see some lines on the polished lip where the curb rash once was, but its smooth as a baby's ass.

Man that would speed the process up a lot compared to doing it by hand! Just be wary when fixing deep scratches. If you sand the lip down too much you'll create flat spots that are easy to spot when polished ;)

Just put the wheel on the rear axle, jack up the rear, idle the car in 5th gear and sand it.
