Just got a quote for fixing the wheel. $360 for straightening and re-sealing. That doesn't take into account the refinishing that will be needed after the straightening. Also the turn around time is 3+ weeks and I leave for school in 2. Probably going to sit on them, slowly refinish them and maybe find another 2.5" lip so I can do 9's all around. Might pick up some reps so I can use the tires I already bought.

So that $360 including them splitting the wheel & then bolting it together/torquing it/sealing it? You could do that stuff yourself to save some $ if you're really in a pinch & just send them the face. And refinishing one face should be farily cheap, the real question is would you disassemble all the other wheels to refinish those faces at the same time!

$360 includes re-sealing. They say they need the whole wheel together to straighten it. Although this was a sales person talking and they already demonstrated a lacking of multi-piece wheel knowledge...

That's kind of what I'm thinking. The faces all need to be refinished anyways.

If they dont know what multi-piece wheels are i can guarantee they will fuck your wheel up.

$360 is armed robbery if that doesnt include refinishing. The most ive ever seen in Seattle was $50-150 for straightening, face or otherwise. Then $250-300 a wheel for refinishing. And wtf are they refinishing? all they have to do is repaint the face, if they are gonna fuck up your brand new lips they need to go back to school.
