Considering purchasing one but im not sure if the height of the shifter
Yeah it sandwich mounts and self-centers in the tunnel cutout. No drilling required. Although I drilled a small notch to accommodate the reverse light wire which I'm going to hit with some sealant.

I love the height of the shifter so far. I haven't noticed it to be fatiguing at all. Plus the shorter throw reduces the shifting effort by so much.

Yeah it's $190 new, I bought mine for $150 used (never mounted). I'd rather have the akg one... but $200 is $200...

I've been lucky to score 2 AKG shifters (gave the 1st to my brother when I stumbled upon the 2nd) for half of what they are new, but if I were to ever do it again, I would probably go with this setup considering cost.

It's effectively the same functioning design (can't really do it any other way if someone wants to claim copy) with the chassis mount being different.

I think I vaguely remember that meet, I would have just gotten back from Germany and bought the red m3.

              I'm old...and holy crap 2009 was 7 years ago.

Hahaha yea that thing was insane. We did quite a few beat-the-snowplows and snowy parking lot shenanigans before it turned into a fully caged rallycar. The noises that thing made....

The seat and harness were about two sizes too big for me at the time. Thought I might die.

But I'm still driving the E30 in the snow lol. The truck needs new tires and the abs needs to be fixed before I take it out in the snow.

I'm loving it. It's been getting much more attention (and money) than the E30 lately... which is ok. The E30 is really rough right now. I need to get some space and pull the engine to do some work. As for now... I'm saving up for some armor and an OME lift for the taco.
