they're my wife's dream wheels :-) still kind of shocked we finally found a set. we're both really happy with them!
yeah the caps are kinda embarrassing aren't they lol.
i'm swapping the bumpers out because of a really sub par rechrome job. they're completely rust free now after sandblasting but the re-chrome and clear are just not good enough.
so I don't want to take that on until the ITBs are done, and i've been kinda neglecting the rubber bits.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

come on over in the morning man.. should have the ITBs running tomorrow.
Looks like there's another set of 4 for sale too. Doesn't look like the guy's trying very hard either lol.
As soon as the ITBs are running I'll swap out the bumpers, bolt up the euro valance and try trial fitting everything all the MT1 bits. Should be in the next week or so.
With all the cash I've shelled out in the last month I need to think the overall plan through.. The whole car needs a respray but it's serviceable so it's a down the road thing. It's pretty obvious though when chicagolande30's car is sitting next to it. When I pull the trigger on that I'll get rid of the 3rd light trunk wart by installing a new trunk lid at the same time.
The MT1 parts and eurovalance also need painting of course, but I'd like to hold off on the paint until everything's finished. I'd like to do things in stages.
1) basic euro. other than shutzing and painting the euro valance, all the parts for this are ready to go.
2) mt1. still need to track down the rear spoiler, and I am waiting on a euro order in for the hardware. there's alot of part prep to do. paint match will probably be a thing, so I have a bit of a conflict here with the broader paint job. I may take this on later this summer.
Weird, but if I can figure out a way to switch between the two setups I'd like to do that.Last edited by bradnic; 09-03-2017, 12:45 PM.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

RHD has a plenum for their ITBs now..
stock fit - no brake booster move needed. between their proven ITB performance and now the plenum this looks like the M20 setup to have.
seeing my dbilas project through to the end regardless.Last edited by bradnic; 09-03-2017, 12:48 PM.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

That plenum is a work of art. Surely I must have something that deserves it :)Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com

It's also inexpensive and available in a less costly black version. Rama / RHD have the M20 ITB setup to beat now.
Good info on ITB sizes here: http://racehead.com.au/designing-per...-should-i-use/
Here's their M20 ITBs

ahh that was gforce323i's - I have his ITBs on this car. I love the hartge valve cover but don't want to mix themes.. and those things are bloody expensive lol. So I really should finish the rest of the car before diving in to tuner land..
As to Alpina/Hartge/ACS, wife decided Alpina wheels were our path forward - Hartge and ACS wheels were a no-go. so here we are. I may put more Alpina interior bits on in the future, but that's after all the pending work on this car is complete. The MT1 setup is staying, but I want to run the car without the MT1 parts too.
yes I'm a strange dude. definitely enjoy what i'm doing here though :-)I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

Yeh, I think your car is just right:). I am going to go euro m-tech 1 as much as possible, but I think the houndstooth interior is going to kill the budget:)
I wanted to get my m-tech bumpers chromed, but not sure if there is a good shop here in town, someday it will happen:)
