The absence of a 6 cyl plenum is what has kept me from putting the RHD itbs on my grocery list but I'm only seeing plenums for 4 bangers on Ramas web site. Are they FS at the moment ?Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com

Still have to seal the large DB bumper openings.. and my MT1 rear is for 325i so slanted exhaust.. will probably move the strömung to my IX.
2017 EDIT: Exactly what I'm gonna do now that I have a slanted tip Strömung to replace this one.Last edited by bradnic; 09-03-2017, 01:52 PM.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

Sorting the hose puzzle to get this damn thing started up
Capturing all the key details on the hose setup. really want to get this running today..
Easy bits
- I need to seal off the TB heater hose lines, one to the thermostat housing, one to the back of the head, 11mm fittings on both.
- Replace fuel feed and return hoses for longer versions, 8mm fittings (one of the hoses is original anyway)
Stock vacuum connections
- 4mm FPR to pass side of intake (small hose)
- 22mm ICV in from intake, post AFM
- 22mm ICV out to TB, after throttle
- 12mm TB to brake booster via check valve, after throttle
- 8mm fitting, TB to carbon canister via fuel tank vent valve, also after throttle
- 22mm valve cover vent to 14mm fitting on TB, before throttle
dbilas vacuum connections
- 1 12mm fitting lower side of itb manifold by cyl 6, after
- 1 24mm connection for PCV valve cover outlet
- 1 12mm fitting on plenum bottom between cyl 4 and 5
- 3 10mm fittings, 1 each on bottom of each ITB pair, after throttle
- 2 4mm connections on top each ITB pair, after throttle
lower ITB fittings
rear of engine showing the rear block coolant line fitting and both fittings on the manifold adapter and rear ITB

So this is the plan then based on the above
- make an AFM gasket
- cap off the 2 coolant fittings for the TB heater hoses
- replace both fuel hoses
and on the vacuum side, keep valves, replace all hoses and clamps, adapt hoses with fittings as needed based on the sizes mentioned above
- FPR to ITB top fitting (sp33dy teed this to both connections on an ITB pair and it improved his high rpm fuel delivery).
- plenum lower fitting to ICV in
- ICV out to ITB manifold fitting underneath
- ITB lower fitting to brake booster check valve, and to booster
- ITB lower fitting to fuel tank vent valve, and on to charcoal canister
- Cap the remaining lower ITB fittingI BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

hose work completed.. home stretch
got out the oetiker pliers and made this bad boy.
also put an ICV line together using 3 sizes of hose, the old ICV bent hose to the TB and a piece of washing machine drain tube :-)
all hoses are installed except for the lower end of the fuel lines. coolant lines capped as well.
remaining before 1st start
- remount the plenum
- lower fuel line fittings
- mounting for service connector, dipstick and ITB
- make an AFM gasket
- assemble airbox and M30 AFM.
then attach the throttle cable and pray the tune works lol
EDIT: Here's both the hose assembly above and the ICV hose assembly installed

put up a post with pics of your ride...
Well she's running. close, but not drivable yet. rough as hell, and doesn't accelerate when you pull the throttle. seems like fuel shortage. i have the fpr vacuum going to one of the ITBs. gonna try moving it to a shared tee i have in the harness (you can see it in the hose assembly pic in the middle). running an ssquid tune for m20 2.5 with m30 afm and 19# injectors.
also can't seem to get the airbox to work with this setup. will probably have to switch to a cone filter as there isn't enough room to mount the thing.
will post some pics tomorrow and assume I'll sort the engine issues out without too much agony. still have to install the accelerator cable to the pedal as well.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s
