I wish I could say I was able to drive that M3, but I'd be lying. :(

Nonetheless, good times at Bratton's doing racecar things.

With all the snow you guys just got I would think a lot of garage time is in order to get this finished.......RIGHT??

Unfortunately my garage is occupied by a friend's car. :(

Also, although I'm home, I'm working this week from here so that doesn't allow for a lot of garage time. My car is buried under 2 feet of snow.

            Tell me about it.

Not a lot I can do to the car though. I've got space to get the harness laid out and hopefully spliced together.

Also I have the engine inside so after parts arrive, I can put it all back together. Trying to figure out what color to paint the block...

I've been thinking about doing something along those lines... We shall see!

Move this to the project section. You'll probably get more feedback. This is the forum for shiny wheels and chewed up fenders.

                    Cool swap!

I've been trying to think of something ridiculous. It's hard to care about taste at a time like this!

I'm working on trying to get it moved.

                      And thanks! I'm stoked!

Soooooo, got all of the gaskets and misc parts ordered yesterday. More to come today but those are just for funsies:

                        So far:

                        Exhaust gaskets
                        Exhaust Manifold gaskets
                        Water pump
                        Spark plugs
                        Front Main seal
                        Rear Main Seal kit
                        Oil pan gasket
                        Thermostat
                        Aluminum thermostat housing
                        Thermostat housing gasket
                        Throttle body gasket
                        Oil filter holder gasket thingy
                        Intake manifold gaskets
                        water pipe gasket
                        Valve cover gasket set
New oil line thingies for the oil filter housing

                        Today:
Oil lines to run oil cooler

And because I'm a spoiled little bitch:

AKG Stage II DTM Style Shifter
                        AKG DSSR

Depending on how much money I have, I may go ahead and order my subframe and trailing arm bushings from AKG and have them done before the motor goes in but who knows.

All I need now to put it in the car is a driveshaft. Since I'm an idiot, I sold my E30 driveshaft not thinking about the revshift adapter.

let me know how that akg shifter is when you get everything installed, I was originally going to go with uuc's kit then I decided on calvin's ssk with the akg dssr from motion motorsports.

I'll keep you posted. From what I've heard, it's artwork. I can't wait to get it in the car.
