Exhaust shop ended up pushing my car back until Friday morning which is actually a good thing for me since I've just had one delay after another.

2 nights ago I pulled my 4.10 open and installed a 2.93 LSD. After putting the diff in and trying to install my driveshaft, I realized that the center support bearing on the DS was for an early model and wouldn't fit.

Ended up getting a new CSB yesterday so I tossed that on the driveshaft. I put the driveshaft in and installed the new slave cylinder as well. I had to stop at that point since I didn't have any help and needed to bleed the clutch and brakes. Tonight after work, I'll get the brakes and clutch bled, then I can take it around the block and at least make sure it's driveable for the exhaust shop tomorrow. Can't wait!

Since I'm on a deadline to have it done for this weekend, a buddy gave me his and I just have to buy him one. Works out perfectly.

Car is in the shop right now.

Put it all together last night, went to pull out of the garage and my slave cylinder popped. Turns out I'm retarded because I installed an M20 slave cylinder and I need a 95-99 M3 one. I don't know why that didn't occur to me but whatever.

I should know soon what they're charging me for the exhaust and I'll probably just have them do the slave cylinder as well while it's there so I can drive it home rather than having to pay for another tow.

Just got a call from the Exhaust shop.

2 downpipes from headers, to a y-pipe and weld that to my already existing exhaust: $700.

Replace slave cylinder: $340.

God. Fucking. Damn. It.

So after being 2 hours late to work because the tow truck driver was 2 hours late, I get quoted some ridiculous fucking price for some shitty exhaust work, and now I get to pay to have it towed home.
