Thanks for the support guys! Man did we cut it close to get to the event. Literally finished the car around 2am Saturday morning. I drove it down the street, did some donuts and loaded it up on the trailer. We got to LVMS around 7am unloaded the car and started to prep for tech. We actually forgot to wire the brake lights in -____-. Knocked that out real quick, set up the rest of the car then took it on the skid pad. Turns out my tires were shredding the fenders and front bumper so we took all of it off. By the time we dealt with all of this and passed tech, the first practice session was over. During session two I only got to lay down 2 runs before qualifying. My entries were great but I was spinning trying to link to the rest of the course. Ideally we would have changed out tires but we only had one set left so we wanted to save those for tandem battles. I felt good coming into my second qualifying run but I starved the motor from fuel. Gave it a clutch kick to keep wheel speed to link after the entry but nothing really happened. I ran out of fuel by the time I went back to the pits.

So we didn't qualify unfortunately, but it was a good event overall. The car didn't have any major problems and honestly I'm even surprised we were able to attend the event since we were cut the deadline so close. We'lll be at IFO this sunday in phoenix and after that we're going to tidy up the car and make sure we're damn ready for round 2 which is also in phoenix. This car is so capable though, I'm so happy with how it turned out. Just gotta get that seat time and I'll be able to show its true potential.

HUGE THANKS to our the shop that built the car and got it ready for this event! Insane Innovations and Streetlife Performance AZ. Also thanks to our sponsors Achilles Radial, DTM Fiberwerkz, Spultronix, The Dirty Thirty, and Meek Army.

So we went softer with the rear and the car is a lot easier to predict now. We're getting a lot more grip and the car can carry itself through longer transitions. We still have a lot of settings to play with and more grip to get. The car should be set up fairly well for round 2 in Phoenix.
IFO on Sunday was a blast, a whole day of testing the car and having fun. We took 3rd in the mini comp at the end of the day. We're so stoked with the reliability of the car. No problems whatsoever. Peoples reactions on their ride alongs was probably my favorite part of the event!

Yep did the same on my car, made it settle down and was much more predictable. What a your tire pressure? I run my rears waaayyyyy low.

Huh? I thought you were supposed to run higher tire pressures to keep them from debeading?

20 lbs cold and I keep them 22 throughout the runs. Drifting is all about grip, and lower tire pressures are a quick easy way to attain that.

Awesome car man! Love following this.....Random question, I see you use the Achilles tires, how do you like them? Is there any dealers that sell them online?

If you've got a problem with debeading, you should consider a different tire or its not wide enough for the wheel.

Same here I keep in the 22-24 range hot, the only time I de beaded a tire is when I had the car sideways on 2 wheels in the dirt Lol. Also my tires are a hair undersized and never an issue. I run nitto neo gen, direzza or s drives

Huh. That was just something I heard YEARS ago at ODS in Virginia, guess it didn't have much basis to it.

Also, for whatever reason, your facebook video isn't working.

These tires are incredible. Super stiff sidewall, tons of grip, and they make the most smoke. They surprisingly last a lot more than I thought. It could be do to the lighter weight of our car but new the 255/35/17 have 6/32 of tread which doesn't seem like much, but I'm getting at least 5 good runs out of them. Thats even without the camber zeroed out completely yet.
We get them straight from their warehouse in long beach, not sure what dealers sell them online. I know their out there though.

123s all around, 235/45/17 up front. They are a crazy good tire, contact them about their racer support program. What sizes are you running?
