Got a ride in this beast in Chicago. We loaded 4 guys into it and it still wanted to break the sticky 285s loose. Awesome car. I could just stare at those headers. they are like jewelry

So amazing how you get nearly the same miles in the LS3 as i get in my m42 LOL

It has a lot to do with the double over drive. Engine is just off idle when cursing at 80....well 1700rpm or so.

So, I drove up the Jake's this weekend to pick up some of his strut bars for the e28. As soon as I got there we scooted over to get the e36 from storage (he quit daily driving it...that e36 will spoil the shit out of you!)

I got the privilege of driving this thing around some of those back country roads and all I can say OH MY GOD. This thing hauls ASS, and sounds freakin awesome too. It pulls so hard and could take a corner like it's nobodies business. Once I figured out the clutch...and fly-by-wire gas pedal (yeah laugh at me, those things are touchy!! lol)..holy smokes! Even with the stiff suspension setup, 10" wide tires, and being as low as it is, the thing rides super smooth and is extremely comfortable even on our lumpy Michigan roads. The steering is tight, the shifter feel is incredibly comfortable. Tight, smooth, and SHORT shifts, and not a single bit of notchiness. And the throw on the shifter is so short, you can almost flick it into gear. The craftsmanship that went into this car is something else. The thing looks and drives brand new. And the exhaust note if absolutely perfect. This guy seriously knows what he's doing.

Can't wait for the next build man...I know you're lined up, but now I see exactly why people call you left and right wanting something like this. Definitely a German Muscle Car here. And an absolute blast to drive!!

Awesome build, not sure how I missed this before..

What did you use to clean the engine bay, and what did you paint the bottom of the car and wheel wells with?

Incredible work!!! Jake could you please share how you mounted m60 cover? Custom fuel rail brackets etc...?

I am using ctsv cover with bmw emblem but really do not like the way it looks and want to go with m60/m62 cover instead.

                          thanks in advance.

It's actually just sandwiched in between the strut bar and the intake. I was planning to make some sort of mount to connect it to the fuel rail but its really secure as is.
