Hartge H27 SP.
Hi!
Just saw this thread and must say, very impressive!!
Regarding the SP badge, I think it stands for "spezial" or special. Might be wrong though.
The H27 SP engine is very special indeed. Those really sharp cams combined with that intake really took the m20 to a new level.
There was one of them for sale in France a while ago, don't know if it's sold though. Post the ad.
Thank's

It is so awesome that Hartge was designing / developing parts to that degree. Very cool...Leave a comment:

Mark, sorry for the delay on the pics.
Thanks, Brad.Mark I posted the ebay listing pics on the M20 ITB thread. and Raúl sent me a couple too which I assume he'll post here.
This is definitely my favorite R3V thread hands down. Now to schedule a pilgrimage to SoCal :-)
Here is a pic out of my 1986 Hartge catalog showing a H27sp motor with itbs.
Less than 25 Hartge H27sp itbs were made. Hartge had Schrick make itbs for their H27sp model. A standard H27 produced 205hp. The H27sp with itbs was to do 220hp. Later I will take it a part to take measurements to post on itbs in m20 section.
