Fronts are rolled, and the struts have been pulled for tomorrow's festivities. Getting closer to driving this beast.

            My brother, the mad welder

            Tight fit

Love this height, but it will need to go back up temporarily... until I order some shorter struts.

Thank you, unfortunately I'm going to have to go back and shorten them, but it will have to wait until I can order new struts. Since I'm running 450# springs up front, I'm going to go with corrado struts cartridges.

Nice work! 17's always look a bit big on e30's for my taste but your car looks great regardless. Love all the hard work you've put into it. Keep it up!

                    Dude you're the man!

What are you using to TIG with? those welds show great penatration and flow.

                    I adore refreshed alpines.

My brother is the man, this is him welding... he does it for a living though. Welder is a massive water cooled lincoln and is really nice. Anyway, new struts are on order, but here is the new temporary ride height.

BTW... I do not like this height at all. I agree with cubby, it's difficult to pull off e30s on 17's, they need to be low, and this isn't low enough.

                          Car failed smog today. :(
At least it wasn't considered "gross polluter"
Shouldn't be tough to fix. Still sucks though.

                            small update...
first, after about 8 weeks I received a letter from the DMV saying they rejected my plate... wife came up with an idea that I prefer "KüüLWHP" (i will make the U's look like umlaut's).
second, got my new shift boots from Cletonius, they came out great. Also installed my knob from nygdup
