The unibody and doors are super clean, no rust spotted yet either. Both fenders need to be replaced and the hood is borderline. Their daughter traded a year of babysitting for the car in 2007. Runs beautifully and came with a binder of records. Definitely exceeded expectations!

North of SLO? Yep. Some of the nicest people I've ever met - they even offered us fresh chicken eggs to take home. They sold it because the check light came on and they thought they wouldn't be able to smog it. I plan to do the usual maintenance, clean it up and maybe have my dad tool it around for a while.

Props on this thread, I'll be following to see where it ends up!

I think people did it because it was "easier" before the OBD2 stuff got cracked. I went OBD1 because I am going to try and make my swap legal, and I feel OBD1 will be easier. we'll see. its almost time to deal with that headache

oh man, this was the one that had a bit of nose damage? nice pickup. what are your plans for it?

no progress on mine, I just got back from a much-needed vacation and haven't seen it in 2 weeks. The rest of the welding gets done on thursday, I should be pulling the motor out over the weekend.

    why do people OBDI swap?

I am unfortunately cursed with a sunroof, but I won't complain about the AC. We're having a bit of a summer here.
I just picked up a 323 almost identical to yours, white/blue sport. Wasn't dogleg but does have a 3.46 lsd

Lol yea after a quick google search. I don't think a dogleg is in my future unless I stumble on one. My best bet will be I find grey market car with one and just buy it for the tranny and part the rest.

If you do, shoot me a PM. I might be able to help you.

No clue but I'm gonna assume it's a pretty penny probably way more then I paid for my motor. If say 500-600 range am I close??
