The issue is that the caps provided with the wheels have an ~48mm center.
Can't find quality roundels in that size.
Also, I like the cap-less look.

Hey man great build! i saw in some earlier pics you ran your new wheels with the center caps but they were blank! You should look into getting some center roundels for them, unless you like the center capless look. Keep up the good work!

Awesome build man! This is an inspiration and a great guideline for my 88 build. Thanks for making this thing.Leave a comment:

Here are some new pics of the 30 after paints.
Want to give a shout out to my wife for the epic pics. She moonlights as a photographer while not studying for Physics finals... She's a genius.

She is still working on a few more.
Hopefully after finals are over.Leave a comment:

Lol... I won'tNot gonn lie
Do really love this car and do really love this build. Your attention to detail and tidiness is something to be admired. I'm liking how it looks so far; I really would have found a front plastic bumper though to have painted with the respray
Top notch work otherwise
Ps
Don't iS badge it
;D
Also.... I'm actually going backwards and putting a stock 88 metal rear bumper back on the car.
I know, I know... I'm probably the only nut job that likes the stock 88 bumpers over plastic.
This car is my cosmetic inspiration though... I love it (minus the wheels, I like mine more):

Just got more pictures from the shop.
He laid the base and sealer last night and clear this morning!
It looks so good!
He still has to paint the mirrors, rocker panels, window trim, and a few other things flat black. Then he'll wet sand and buff it.
Hope to pick it up next Tuesday:

Very minor body work. Just a bit on the rocker panels on both sides.
The rest was just dent repair.
I got the friend discount so I don't know if what I paid would be a good place to start. It was less than $2k.Leave a comment:
