Awesome progress. I'm going to get the Lachssilber resprayed on mine. How much did the shop quote you? Doesn't look like there was a lot of bodywork done. -
Going to the shop after work to see the progress. Paint was supposed to start today, but it's raining so not sure. Will post more pics if any additional progress has been made.Leave a comment:

Got a new steering wheel:

Still need to pick up a hub/adaptor for it.
I am thinking about using the following:
NRG
SRK-E30H

NRG Adaptor/Spacer
SRK-500B

Fixed the leak and put the interior back together some time ago.
Put down some RoadKill sound deadening material while the carpet was up.
It made a big difference actually:

Had our house carpet professionally steam cleaned... Had the guy do my e30 carpet while he was there, lol. Turned out great! :

All the boots had claps except for one which I placed a SS zip tie on.
I did however have to drill the holes that the allen head bolts slide through to a larger diameter.
They were too small.
Gold side on the left:

I see you bought a auto zone rear axle, did you put a clamp on one of the inner boots?
If not is it leaking the grease?
Stock oem has a clamp.Leave a comment:

I have developed a leak that pools water in the front floor boards every time it rains.
I have pin pointed the leak to the HVAC unit to body seam that will require me to remove the whole dash from the car to fix.
Same as this guy (Spot #2): http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69882
So for the time being I have removed the carpet so I can sop up the water when it rains and avoid floor pan rust.

Had to replace a stripped valve cover head stud.
The valve cover kept leaking and forming oil on top of the cover around the edges.
Also, repainted the valve cover again (3rd time)
Also, installed a IE strut brace I've had laying around for a few months.
