I found AP Racing brake kit 330x28 for a good price. I will be ordering them soon. The rears I’m still searching on AP. I found AP Racing rear 285x24 for €1650 euros. I don’t want 285mm (11”) rear. I want 312mm. Will wood offers for rear 310mm vented dual calipers.
I found some Hartge tips that bought years ago in my collections. I was going to modify one of them. I decided not to. I been on eBay searching for oval tips. Found three tips that might work for my project.
I welded my bung and wrap Ed down pipe.
I found a couple companies that can do AP Racing big brake kit for front and rear. I’m waiting on emails.
I’m almost done on my exhaust. I need to add one O2 bung to my down pipe my AME. I ordered some 2.5” exhaust tips for muffler. I plan to have shop next to make a Hartge tip. It will be be made of thin stainless sheet metal. I do have Hartge e30 m3 exhaust systems. I don’t think they can breath.
I have a question for you? I’m going to up grade my brakes. On front I want to buy AP Racing big brake kit. The rears I did it find AP Racing kit. For know I’m thinking of using e36 M3 rear 312mm vented rotors and calipers plus adapter. I been searching for hydro parking brake. I see Turner sells this parking brake.
I cleaned up the aluminum control arms and put on new rubber boots.
I ordered new coil over kit.
I should have 3” exhaust cut and welded up.
I ordered 2.5 stainless piping for exhaust tips.
I’m almost done with exhaust. I ordered a four gauge pod like Hartge 3 gauge pod. I been rethreading ball joints, packing new clean grease putting new rubber boots and cleaning aluminum control arms.
I was test fitting my 3 spoke Hartge steering wheel.
I’m still working on exhaust. I painted the Magnaflow muffler black. I have e30 m3 Hartge exhaust’s. I’m not sure it could not handle horse power.
The ball joints don’t press out. But Dorman makes some reasonably priced ones I’ve had good luck with. BMWCCA CR actually require you to replace them I think every 2 years on race cars as they are known to break with a lot of use.
