I hope you lubed all engine components. The piston should not have been scratched like that upon installation. That's the ghetto ass tools fault. The rings need to be positioned correctly. Other that keep on at it I wanna see this car running sweet build.

I lubed it all, it was the rings being crimped form the shitty compressor that scratched them, but i replaced them with new rings of course..

          And thanks bud!

            UPDATE: 8/11/2013

FINALLY FOUND THE REASON IT NEVER STARTED!!!!!!!!!!

After paying a buddy 300 bucks to get it running (still not running) he found out why it would never run in the first place.

The wire shown in the picture is the shielded wire for the ignition and as you can see mine is shot.

            MINE vs BENS
            [IMG][/IMG]

So looks like im not getting wheels this paycheck.. ):

But i ordered some new goodies :D
            IE drop hats
            Used fuse box
            Used engine harness
Brand new Walbro 255 pump kit again (the current one took a shit on me)
solid condor tranny mounts to match the condor motor mounts

** sanded the car outside without a face mask, woke up with my nose and throat all fucked up** :???:

I picked up a Skil Octo for like 30 from Lowes with 32 piece of sand paper and 8 different attachment pieces and they really do come in handy!

I need some 40/50 grit paper, the 60 grit gets the clear off but has trouble getting the primer off

                  UPDATE: Aug 10-14th 2013

So i finally get another paycheck and cant spend this one on wheels either ):
I have to take care of a few things on the car and some court stuff for those damn tickets...

But i got alot done this week!
Not alot of pictures because most was done after work spur of the moment because i was out there looking at the car lol

I finally put the whole driveshaft and guibo and diff back into the car so i can lower it back down and get it in the garage haha

But i had to go to Lowes the other day for my mom and i came across a deal on a Skil Sander kit and i knew i was doing the prep work when the time came so i jumped on the deal and then i thought.... i have nothing to do and no money to spend on the car for the next week so might as well start on the prep work and leave it a matte color until its ready for paint!

After pulling the panels off i went nuts with my wire wheels and got the inner parts of the wheel wells to bare metal and primed them a shit ton and a little bit under coating
(sorry didnt take a before shot)

After doing all that, i sanded the hood/quarters/valence and bumpers down to bare metal/plastic and got them baby smooth, threw 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of ChalkBoard paint lol

                  Best invention for spray paint!

AND YES THE CHALKBOARD PAINT JOB IS TEMPORARY... UNLESS I START TO LOVE IT LOL

And to wrap up this update my buddy traded his VR6 GTI for a late model 325is Zinnorot bone stock in greattttt condition with what we think to have a swapped M20, cylinder walls are amazing.. and i only know that because he busted his oil pan at a mexican restaurant and we replaced it last night until 3am

And last night was the first time i ever drove an E30 so it worked out pretty well!!

Oh and its on raceland coils they actually ride nice! IDK about aggressive autoX.... but for street shinanigans i think theyre perfect!

Hmm that doesn't look very zinno to me but I'm no expert!!

Also your case for racelands isn't helped much by that cracked oil pan haha.
I threw on some dirt cheap coilovers but they're paired with good shocks, that's the key

My vote goes for keeping the chalkboard paint!

                      Love the color in person!

And yeah hopefully i can finish painting the whole car this week

Got some new goodies in today as well

Euro led side markers and 255 fuel pump kit both very nice quality no doubt!

                              UPDATE: 8/16/2013

Finished up the chalkbord ont he front minus the hood and put it back together, looks pretty good especially with the side markers!

Also got my condor solid tranny mounts in today and threw those in

Now its a matter of getting the motor started and wrapping up a few more basic cosmetic and maintenance things

                              Its a little dirty..

Also tried replacing the sheilded wire in the harness with a regular wire and the ign. coil got super hot so that wasnt my best idea, gonna pick up some sheidled wire tomorrow and see what happens and hopefully get the new fuel pump in.
