Personally been working on my project for almost 8 months now, only put about 80 miles on it since purchase. Done the complete overhaul and what not, been stressed out before wanting to sell it. It'll pay off once everything comes together man, you'll laugh wondering why you even thought of selling it in the first place.
Take a breathe, be patient, and it'll all be good. These things take a lot of time and persistence..

Man I've wanted to set my car on fire... or punch a windshield, so many times. And those moments continue to happen.
But it'll all be worth it in the end, and you'll know this car in every direction.
Relax with the knowledge that you don't have any real deadline, that's when things really start pissing you off.

Jesus man this is probably one of the nicest e30's I've seen in a while!
I might have to smack you for getting so discouraged haha.
2 quick comments:
-If you're replacing all the brake soft lines, why not stainless?
-I hope you didn't get a reinz head gasket..
Oh and is that the torque wrench you used to torque your head bolts?

i didnt think about it at the time lol but when i get the wheels and suspension i want, ill switch all my bushings to poly along with stainless lines later
And yeah its a reinz HG is that bad? not going to boost with the reinz, going to boost with cometic! just dont have 250 to drop on one gasket ATM
And yeah i used that torque wrench its new so no bending, is it a terrible wrench?????

Yeah I don't think the stainless lines are too hard to replace with the car all assembled anyway, and seeing as you'll have the subframe off again to do bushings it shouldn't be a problem.
For the headgasket, a decent amount of people, myself included, have had some issues with reinz. Whether it's poor sealing or longevity, most people will recommend an OEM gasket such as goetze. I'm boosting 10 psi on a goetze gasket, I do have an o-ringed block and ARP studs which help. With this same setup, the PO blew the rings before his gasket due to a poor tune and gratuitous HPDE's and auto-x. I don't think the MLS gasket is worth the cost until really high power levels, and even then its hard to get the thing to seal from what I've heard. But then people do use them a lot, someone stop me if I'm spreading misinformation here.
If it's new I can't imagine your torque wrench being a problem then! I used a $10 HF clicker to torque my studs

If I need a new one I'll go TCD, this one's a little heavier than I'm used to, and theres not much room for slipping, its more on-off. Fine for me but sometimes passengers don't like it. It'll probably get better once I start DDing the car.
Problem with TCD is it's expensive as shit, and all my opinions of that are purely based on hearsay. Spec is good, holds power, takes a decent amount of getting used to though
