well i have come to the point where i think im going to stop working on my car for a while. I need to save for a second car and ill be looking for a E30 iX. when I have that car I will be stripping my current e30 and send the body off to be media blasted. then ill be able to do all the body work and paint it the way i want. Then i can rebuild it the way I want from ground zero. I do plan on powder coating the control arms and subframs and such. I will make sure that when this thing is done it will be better than when BMW originally built it. I will keep you all posted on the progress.

Good stuff... you'll love it once that M30 is in there, especially with high compression at 3.7L.

Thank you and I'll be looking for a bit but I'll still be building the m30 itself just not much will be done to the car till I have the second car. I may wind up getting another random e30 then use it for parts or sell it off to help with getting an ix. We will see how this unfolds. And correct me if I'm wrong but I could go 12.0:1 compression if I wanted to and it still run well on pump gas. Idk if it makes a difference but I always get she'll fuel. I've herd it Dosnt matter then I hear it dose idk.

Oh and side note I'm going to be taking a head class at my local college pretty much so I can use the facilities to port and polish and rebuild my head with some VAC and bimmerheads equipment.

So I made a few calls and to have my car stripped down to bare metal including the door jams engine bay and whole exterior I'm looking at about $1,300.00. I'll be Stripping everything off it including the carpet and removing the engine and driveline. I will be saving for a bit for a second car and to pay that as well as building up the engine. That k God for tax season coming lol.

Well I will begin disassembly this week I'll be using an e36 as my go to car for a bit so I'm going to start on the interior and then the trim then out comes the engine and driveline. Then prep it for stripping.

Okay so Paul was right about my B35 block there are hair line fractures between the water jackets and where the head bolts go in. He recommended to grab a B34 block from a 86. So im going to turn this block that I have into a furniture piece. So if you have a B34 block and are within 200 miles of Auburn CA 95603 please let me know. It isnt dire but i would like to know if you have one. and if your out of the 200 mile zone still let me know if i think its worth it to me ill do the drive there.

Well the interior is just about totally out i just have to take the heater stuff out so i can get to the rest of the carpet. As well as the headliner but then all of the interior is out. I started on unhooking the engine soon the engine and transmission will be ready to be pulled. So if you are in need of a M20B27 let me know. I am not going to take the engine apart its too much of a hassle.
