Wat . Comparing to 15s? There is like 5 205/55/15 tires on the market right now. Compared to PLENTY of 205/50/16s. And NOTHING for 225/50/15 except for some Not-That-Great Kuhmos.
unless your comparing to 17s?1985 325e M50TU(Sold)

I'm going to have to agree that 15's are easier to find e30 sized tires for than 16's. 225/45/16 is a pretty rare size unless you want <200 treadwear. Z2 star specs are the only thing on tirerack @>=200 treadwear, but they only came out last year. I ended up getting some discontinued falkens. (Not that I can get star specs locally, or anything else in this size anymore)
For 205/55/15 you can at least drop down a size to 205/50/15, which I've run on Euroweaves and enjoyed. One size lower on the 16's doesn't exist, and there is nothing close other than 225/50/16, but bigger tires can look weird on an e30.Last edited by Northern; 01-11-2015, 04:44 PM.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

Test fitting the Ronals without the tires... I have a feeling that I might have some clearance issues with the 225/50's against the strut housing (shortened ground controls). I was planning on spacing these out a few mm's, but I won't know the full prognosis until I can get the tires up there.
Mmm bokeh
