Very nice work!
What paint did you use to shadowline the window trim? I've googled and everywhere the answers are different....Comment

haha yeah i've been without a job for several months because of the winter weather so i've only had school and E30 so it's easy to get carried away
hit it with a red scuff pad
wipe off with a prep solution
spray self etch primer
spray normal primer
spray SEM 39143
I was swamped with exams this week so I didn't get much done :( hopefully get some garage time in this weekend.
I sold a bunch of random parts and worked on IronFreaks body harness though.

Nice work. I'm having the exact same problem with rubbing 235/40/17 in the rear. Also have a 650# spring that i should raise slightly and rebuke my stance ways :)

i've done quite a bit of little stuff to the car lately, i'll just jump right into it.
i recently bought a new bike since i've been lazy and eating all winter long. it's badass and it's got a little bit of a motorsport vibe to the color scheme. i love it. i then grabbed a yakima rack and old school bike holders from a good friend for an amazing price.
i also bought a vintage yakima 43" fairing off ebay and it needs some slight refurb work, hoping to have it on later this week. this thing will NOT get sticker bombed. i'm not a damn hipster :|
i then started to work on my koni/ground control front dampers since my GC bastard kit was too short and gave me 1" of rake. i sand blasted and prepped the tubes at iron freaks shop and he welded up the perch holders. then they got a good coat of bright red and clear. i also installed my 25mm IE front bar from the track car. it doesn't need it any time soon ;)
ride height is mostly dialed in.. i might need to raise the front up a tad once i get them settled. i really want to corner weigh the car but don't know anyone with a set of scales. the car needs an alignment bad but man i love how it feels....
i am also thinking of grabbing a set of euro bumpers, euro valance & fog deletes for this car waaaay sooner than i had imagined.. this car has convinced me to spend the money..

Bike is sweet! I bet you guys have some naasty trails out in NE. BTW, toss that seat height up! It'll feel a ton better.Comment

Dig the e28 but a tad too low for me. I'd be afraid of tearing up the underside with it being that low.Comment
-
I agree a little low. But Damn that beautiful man. I hear those cars are some of the best cruzing cars. Then you can stomp on it and leave other cars in the dust. Some e28 drivers tell me it's literally like driving an e30 just a little bigger and more powerful....... I want one. Those tail lights man those are amazing.Float like a cadillac sting like a Bimmer!:)

Damn, your build is definitely coming along. I talked to the owner of that e28 a few years ago at ICC. That car is immaculateComment
