New member here and have just read all pages :)
I must say that attention too detail is something i really like :D
Myself has some kind of ocd into details, OEM+´s way.
I do some small details now and then on my own m3 :)
And btw, i love the Tesa textile tape :)

Seems like its been awhile since I've gotten anything done. Took a little vacation out to Colorado this past week, much needed.

Right before I left I replaced my broken rear side marker with a new one that Steve had laying around. The black tab on the end of one side broke off, so sometimes it would fall out like this if you pressed on it.

    New

I still had a few things to sort out with the hvac panel area. Some of you may noticed in older pictures, my obc light bar was out. Also, I had a piece of my panel missing under the AC button. Only noticeable at night, when the illuminating light shines through the hole.

Greg at Bavarian restoration has a lot of cool products for e30s. I've bought many things from him including two si boards, ground cables, my afm, and now his 13 button obc light bar. He modified it with an led bulb so hopefully doesn't burn out anytime soon. And for dirt cheap. Can't recommend him enough. It's easy to replace, once you get to the obc :) just pull out from the side

Burnt out one on bottom, new one on top.

Finally, everything appears to be working properly.

I haven't been driving the car much, but here's how the suspension is sitting as of now.

Up next--new engine mounts, aluminum control arms, front sway bar end links, and replacing the shot steering rack.

my first thought would be a shop didn't have the right parts and pulled a fast one on an unsuspecting owner, assuming they wouldn't know the difference.

this will go down for me as one of these "one up lines" if I ever have friends tell me some crazy stuff they have seen on their cars.
I asked myself the same questions a few times over before concluding that it wasnt worth the brain power trying to comprehend what in the hell was going on in the little peanut brain of the previous owner.

And yeah...this is one for the record books -____-

They were not cut. I cant imagine what the ride would of been like had they been cut as well.

I wish. I have no intentions to try and make people think I have a dogleg transmission, and I do not plan to get one. But I want to keep the shift knob original.
