Me to! I can't wait to see it done. My painter sent me some pics of his work which is what sold me to him. This car in that color with his kind of paint job will be fantastic.
These are some pics he sent me. These are things he was working on and they haven't even been buffed or wet sanded.

:curse:Well aint this some shit. Went to finish up my rocker panel and sand the body to 180 grit for paint and noticed that my undercoating was wet but how could that be its in a garage. well i got some water someplace some how it leaked it and Showed another rust hole :curse: So now getting it primed may get pushed back Since deer season start in three days and I'll be busyComment

Well I patched the rust I found and did a bunch of welding on the seems that had begun to surface rust hoping the welder would blow out the bad metal and leave me with clean metal and my weld. Which it did flawlessly. So now I'm sanding the body to 180 grit I'm 90 percent done with it just go the roof, body lines, and bodyfiller to get to 180 then shes going to paint. I finally set it in stone as well the car goes to paint December 13th. I cant just need to decide if i only want it primed or completely done. if I prime it now and wait till spring to finish I will have a better finish as the primer will have setup and really take in the paint. Or i can have it painted now and but it together over the winter. decisions decisions......Comment

Got hit with some total BS was cleaning up the driver side wheel well to re rock guard it and prep for paint. I was using a wire wheel to get the old crusty rock guard off and turns out the rock guard wasnt the only thing crusty the wheel well is rusty and crusty and I can tell why. The PO decided he didn't need to roll his fenders the right way and this is what happened.
It gets worse but I cant get the camera to take pics. Where is "thought" I patched my bumper mount I was wrong the back side under the undercoating is rusted. I already ordered this panel
about to order wheel well from blunt monday and once those arrive i'll get them in asap should take more then a weekend. Until then Ive been cleaning up the under carriage and laying por-15. While I'm waiting for my parts to come I'm gonna lay the rest of my undercoating and seem sealer should be much more. Also put my patch in. It looks like I got a couple more to make to. It seems like when I wire wheel the under carriage I'm hitting the thin spots on the floor from below and its knocking holes in and i'm replacing all the metal I tried to save :(.
I do have the body mostly sanded so when it comes time Ill just put the new arch in put in body filler and seal up and send it to paint. Unless my arch takes longer then I thought to get I should be able to get it all in a done and off to paint no later then a week then first anticipated.Comment
