Yea I seen those already. Hard to swallow that price tag. I have a buddy stationed in Germany now. I am trying to get him to send me some from there since its like shipping within the US.Looking for late model fogs, E39 Fog lights, cool cheap 17 5x120 wheels.

Amazing work so far! Subscribed.
I'm collecting parts for an M52 swap myself.
I had thrown out the idea of running AC, but you've given me inspiration to at least attempt it!
I also want to wire tuck, but I'm not sure if I'll go to the extent that you are.

Its really not that hard to do the fuse block. Just mark it out on a piece of paper prior to doing it. Its definetley worth the time taken. The engine harness just had to be extended to reach the x20 plug. Less than 25 wires. The diag plug relocation was optional, bur it didnt require alot of wiring modifications. The ac is not hard to keep either. You can just get splicers for the lines and keep the stock condenser and fan. Thanks for the positive comments.Looking for late model fogs, E39 Fog lights, cool cheap 17 5x120 wheels.

Finally got a chance to work on the car again. Been busy at work jumping out of airplanes, lol. 2 late nights in a row. Put the a/c system under a vacuum and found it has a slight leak. Very slow, I may have to charge and run with dye to find it. I have a feeling its my terrible welding on the low side futtng on the compressor. I ciukdbt get it air tight with flux core wire. Cleaned up my garage for 3 days on and off. I really let it go.Looking for late model fogs, E39 Fog lights, cool cheap 17 5x120 wheels.

pics are broken man.....but great thread! just saw this and expect a pm on the wire tuck from me! can you take a pic of how you mounted the fuse box under the dash? thanks in advancesigpicComment

Thanks. I'll fix the pics in a bit. I updated from my phone and it doesn't link correctly. I have not mounted it yet. I will get to it soon. I am just about ready to put the car back on the ground, then I can get the door open all the way and work under the dash a lot easier. Need to get the fan in so I can finish the wiring.Looking for late model fogs, E39 Fog lights, cool cheap 17 5x120 wheels.

new addition to the shop

start with a shitty pilot/autozone exhaust tip. Flip it over and.....BAM, a 2-1 merge collector

cleaned it up a bit

add a flex joint

had to make the first bend to make the 2 runners parallel. made the second bend to make them equal height after it has installed, no pics of that sorry

Had to make a squisher jig

here is a mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust

got the header supported, o2 bung installed, clamps tightened up. i also painted the exhaust. it will be ready for the ground after i re-bleed the clutch. i can say that a flowmaster 40 is way too loud. even with the resonator. i need to get a new muffler. i would like another offset inlet, any suggestions?

That's gonna be your best bet for the bumpers. You might even be able to make some profit on reselling sets to people in the states.Comment
