Looks great! So I am going to be installing my all OEM Mtech II kit soon as well. Did you have directions on how the kit is installed or did you just wing it? We are doing a similar build exterior wise!

Hey guys so sorry I have not responded to this thread. The M-Tech Sedan project has been slowly moving forward. In the months since I posted this the only major thing I've done was a full Bilstein Sport shocks and H&R springs to lower it just a bit.

I recently made the jump from the NYC/NJ area to sunny southern California so that had me very busy.

Here she is about to make the journery

And finally arriving in California, although on a cloudy day.

Here it is as it sits today, awaiting it's swap.

Speaking of swaps, here is the M50 I picked up from a local forum member. Got a pretty good deal for the whole package.

Im hoping to have the swap done in the next few months. Im currently sourcing all the other parts needed for the swap. Got the pedals, oil pan and tube. Next Im getting the wiring adapter to go from M20 to M50 easier.

And after that the design interior is going to get some work done. I think by the end of this year this sedan will be "done" (are they ever really?)

                    Thanks guys.

                      great job

One of the best m-tech 2s I have seen out there. BTW, check with local smog rules before you do the swap; of course you most likely know that:)
Looking forward to seeing pictures of the interior and swap!

Thank you and yes I'm actually going to smog it before I do the swap. I've been here for a couple of months now and I haven't switched to California drivers licensence yet. I'm still waiting for my e30 M3 engine rebuild to be completed so that car is still in NJ. Once that car is here in going to switch over. I don't want to create the situation where I have a California DL but my m3 is registered in NJ. I was advised by a person who works at the dmv not to do that. I'll just wait for the M3 to get here and I'll do everything at once.

                          good deal

Pictures of the m3 when you have a chance:). Calif. can be really tricky for smog checks:)
Enjoy the m-tech 2, nice a rare and beautiful!

Just make sure when you register the cars here and the question is "how long has this car been on CA roads" you answer something less than 20 days. I registered mine on the "25th day" and had to pay an additional $60 in fines.... Welcome to CA  Ive been back for almost 2 years and just recently got my CA drivers license
