I just developed some film from Oktoberfest and here are some of the photos. (I took pics of the actual photos since I can't download them to my phone at the moment, so excuse the poor quality)

Also fitting is that his car made it in the picture of Oktoberfest in Beaver Creek. I just saw it in this month's der Bayerische. He would have been happy it made it there.

Thanks! I will post more pictures when I get the pieces back from paint. I haven't done much since we got back. I'm also going to start working on the consoles and maybe start a separate thread on those once I get them sorted and put together.

Great work! I'm so glad I live in a state where rust just isn't an issue. Except in 02s. Rust is somehow always an issue on any car from the 70s and earlier.

That's so awesome! Crazy that the car required that much when it was only 10 years old.

Going through my Dad's box of paperwork on the car today, I came across the old service records from the original owner. Apparently it had a complete restoration done in 1982 at Viktor Quality Auto Rebuilders In Chicago. To my surprise photos of the first restoration accompanied the paperwork.

Finally made it to the garage. Next step is disassembling the doors and taking them to get media blasted.
