I'd pull the head to see what the bottom end looks like

Started in on the breaking down of the s52. Got the engine harness, and valve cover off.

I'm trying to decide what to do. The spark plugs all looked good except for cylinder number 3, it had lots of oil around it. Looking down the spark plug holes I can see what looks like some pretty good carbon build up on the pistons. There isn't any build up on the back of the valves, and the intake is quite dirty.

I'm not sure if I pull the head and go through it and clean the pistons of carbon, or skip it for now. The engine has 160k.

You can kinda see the oil down in cylinder 3, I'll try and get a better photo.



Valve train looks pretty good.

thanks, you've been my largest inspiration. Lambo leaves everyone feeling dissatisfied, and i don't think i could change that about him, no matter how hard i try.

Got the tranny off, got the motor moved to the new place and on a engine stand. ECU came and doesn't have corrosion. iS skirts also arrived. Won't have those on for a while.

Hahah that's rich.

I purchased it for less than the 3.25 LSD that's in it is worth. I need the LSD for my build. The wheels and spoiler were icing on the cake.
