I'm torn, I think the silver would be easier to keep clean, and be understated, but I think the white would pop very well against the calypso. -
I meant the weave, the wheel face. That's Nogaro Silver IIRC.Leave a comment:

I'm sure you like style 19 wheels too.
Yeah, I just might have to go red.Leave a comment:

Yep, I think the red ones will look great, and the blue ones good as well. The black is more common, so it's not as much of a notice point if you want that feature.Leave a comment:

Thanks man :D
Yeah, I'm still on the fence about the caps. I do like the blue, but don't know if it would be too much as there isn't any other blue on the car.Gold BBS w/ red background for the caps. But, I really like the japanese blue and sliver ones that are kinda rare though too. (I think the red will look better with your car, but the blue could look hot.)

I really like gold BBS lettering, and would like red.
The good thing is the caps are the easiest thing to change :D
Is this what you're talking about?

Here on Mirkos car with RS's

This is what I liked

Style 5's don't have a bolt on the outside, it's a splined stud, so you just unscrew the back stud, then punch out the stud. I'll get a photo for you.
I actually really enjoy taking them apart, and after reading through some rebuild threads I think it's going to be easy peasy, just time consuming.
Thanks! They really are, I think it's that now there are quality adaptors, and the wheels are starting to be cheaper since e39's are starting to get older. If you're patient you should be able to find a set not too spendy. Lots of people don't know what they are.
Not from what I've found. I'm not in a prime bmw market, but when I looked on ebay if people know what they were they wanted at least $600 for a shitty set, plus shipping. A freshly rebuilt set would go for $1300 no tires. At the $300 I spent for the set I Think It will be all worth it.
I think I'm going to shoot for this. I don't know what color BBS logo I'll go with yet. Likely gold.

Also, felt restless so I installed my plate filler. I need to clean it.

Style 5's have always been the thing and they have actually dropped in price. They used to be over 1000 for a good set now you gotta have a fresh polish and respray plus decent tires to get over 1000 for them.Leave a comment:

Did you have the feeling of wanting to pay someone to take them apart by about the third wheels? I know I did with mine haha you just get so tired of holding two ratches for hours on endLeave a comment:
