So, got back into the tear down last night. Someone glued the fucking water pump and pipes on. Christ. Think I'll just get some heat on them to make the o-ring/silicon/goop mess flexible. Also broke two of the bolts that hold the crossover tube at the back of the heads. Not flush, so should be cake to extract.

....and the small pipe at the bottom of the WP fucking broke. So there goes $200 for a water pump.

....and the t-stat is all glued in there too. Goddamnit.

This thing is so filthy. Really can't wait to get it cleaned up.

Meanwhile prowling C-list for those $500, 5th owner 750iLs to part out.....

Glad to see your coming to your senses. No one needs a v8 e30 when you can have a m30 in it... especially m30 turbo.. What if you Bought another rover and made it a m60 6 speed rover lol

I'm getting to the point where I just want a stock Rover.

Sure, the Classic is nice and will be cool and all, but it's going to need a resto sometime (found more rust).....and it's so terrible to drive, lol.

Wanna stick with the e30 'vert. It'll need a power plant. M30 is easy. M30 has been my forte anyways.

Selling M60 stuff will finance the M70 stuff as well.

I'm getting old, and tired.
