Man, popped a new center link in and this thing's steering is tiiiiight. Love it.
Right valve cover gasket is puking. Gonna have to address that sooner than later, but really, I'm loving this car.
At least now the bottom isn't hemorrhaging oil, and it actually steers. Have some Moosehead bushings for the UCAs, then the suspension should be all buttoned up for now.Leave a comment:

245 on 7 will fit but it looks and functions poorly. I'm all for maximum tire, but 225 is plenty for a 7.Leave a comment:

This is going to happen....
....they are 16x7".....Wondering if I can pop a 245/50 on them.....the overall height will be the same as the stock 225/60/15.
Other option is a 225/50....which will be close. I'd rather run the widest tire possible....but IDK if a 245 on a 7" wide wheel will look dumb....
Also waffling on running them with center caps, or without....Leave a comment:

Oil pan adventure done.
WHAT FUN
Have to drill those two holes to get to two of the bolts. Otherwise, the factory way, you have to remove the transmission....
Did the engine mounts.....the one on the right is from the left (driver's) side....so it see all the engine tq when revved.
It's also in a position where you cannot replace it without dropping the subframe.
I hope to not have to see this side of this oil pan for a loooong time.....if ever.....
But really, it isn't that bad of a job to do. I would have had it done quicker but I decided to get and install the engine mounts.
....and all buttoned up.
Sadly I don't have pics of the subframe(s) hanging down and the bottom end of the engine. Nothing was found laying in the pan. I was impressed.
Next chapter will be the valve seals and the peeling back of the layers to replace those.....Leave a comment:
