Well today I called bbs to see if they had any rs715 wheels left so I can use it as a spare. And luckily they had just one left in stock. So I ordered the last one and now I will have a matching set of 5 wheels. Boo yeah. only difference is this wheel is all chrome. Thats fine cause im going to refinish all of them in a gunmetal. Unless i really like the chrome look.

            more parts came in.

I got my wiring harness for my illuminated shift knob........ its bad ass

            all my shifter linkage stuff

            And my Z3 1.9 shifter

im still waiting on my brand new viscous coupling and i have to order some hardware i neglected to order to put more splines into the transfer case. Once I have all of that then I can order a new head gasket set and tackle all of the following jobs

            Shifter linkage refresh
            Clutch job
            VC replacement
head gasket and top end gaskets
paint valve cover and intake manifold
            valve adjustment
            radiator replacement
            install my short shifter

once i get all that done this baby should drive quite a bit nicer and track through snow a lot better and be the unstoppable ix it should be.

So I just installed a new Z3 1.9 shifter in the ol iX. HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!!!! What a huge difference. The shifting in the car is about 1000000 times better. I cannot be happier with this upgrade. If you own an iX I HIGHLY recommend this upgrade.

And I'll take pics the radiator seems to be close to the same just thicker yhan the m20.

I love that JPS car, I was going to go with the same body kit on my 325i until I decided to go with a sleeper look.

I installed the Z3M radiator. BMW never even changed how it mounts or even where the fan shroud mounts. I had to recheck the part number and it was indeed a Z3M radiator. Only difference I saw was it was about 1/3rd thicker than the M20 radiator. The car dose run a couple degrees cooler. I can also smash on it harder and where car would get a few degrees warmer now it just stays at the same spot. Its a pretty good upgrade

Also i couldnt get the clip installed on my shifter selector rod without lowering the transmission. So for now i went all Macgyver on that and use a couple of zip ties to hold it in till i actually have the chance to drop the transmission.
