Ecu most likely will be under the dash.

Fuel filter I think in the engine bay on the drivers side like everyone else has but when I get it in a few days I am gonna play around with it

            Thanks
            Parts on the way:
            Fuel filter
            Fuel pressure regulator
            Fuel pump
            Sway bar

Still need to sort out the coolant hoses.
I'm gonna see if I can get anything to match up with the stock 325i radiator

Should be ordering the booster delete very soon

I'm not sure how I'm gonna run the wires through the firewall on the drivers side yet so any suggestions from someone with experience would be awesome

Installed the condor mounts on the tranny today, tightened down the motor mounts for good all the shift and carrier linkage.

Messed up my steering knuckle tryin to get it back in the rack :( so I'll have to get a new one or fix the one I have. That kinda sucks but no big deal.

I threw on some smoked signals and replaced my broken fog light to cheer me up after the knuckle broke

            Will post some pics soon.

Nice work. A S54 E30 is going to be a blast! I am loving that subframe and pan setup.

                Looking good so far.

Most people run a s54 M-coupe/roadster harness so the wires go in the passenger side, stock ecu location.

                  Wannabe30's s54 swap

Yes I wish I had one but I'm using the one that came from the motor thank jb325is

That's actually what I will be doing tonight is trying to figure out how to run all these wires through the firewall on the driver side FUN (sarcastic fun)

I couldn't get the stupid steering shaft on the rack so I moved on to other things

                      Bolted up the drive shaft:

Connected some basic positive power cables

Test fit the wire harness from Andrew just to make sure I knew what plugs go where

Then after some beer a lot of aggravation I got the steering shaft on from the top hammering it

So that's good news for me.

Fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator should be in tomorrow so I will hopefully mount those up

If not I will work on the oil cooler

                          Thanks

                          Fuel pressure regulator
                          Fuel pump
And fuel filter still haven't got here

And I just found out that Ireland engineering sway bar some reason got messed up in the shipping and it's still in California so tracking says feb 10th and booster delete still isn't here yet but that's from Canada

                          I hate waiting on parts

I decided to try to come up with a heater core bypass for this s54 and I do think it will work out great... Never found any info searching on Google so I will post after I get this thing running to confirm it works.

                            Here's what I did:

                            Took the stock hoses:

Trimmed em up a little bit:

                            Homedepot auto parts:
This is a 1" brass elbow I found in the plumbing section:

                            Joined together:

                            Boom!

My new fuel pump finally showed up:

I got a new e46 m fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator that had to be ordered. Then when I picked them up and got back I realized that the fuel pressure regulator didn't come with either one I figured it was already attached.

So I sourced a used one

Here they are all put together:

It is a monster of a thing so there's not too many options to mount. I will probably just do what everyone does and put it in the engine bay under the brake lines somewhere.
