I have wilwood bp20s on my wagon and I love them, definitely not too aggressive if that's what you're worried about. They make a lot of dust though... Like clean your wheels once a week with the garden hose amount of dust. Which kit are you thinking? I recommend Ireland Engineering very highly if you haven't already chosen, I run their 310mm kit front and rear.

So far I'm leaning towards the Ireland engineering 295mm just so I can fit 15s if I wanna go that route in the future. I drive this car on the street more than the track (even tho I'm planning on getting more into the track driving) I'm not sure about the bp20 needing to heat up to be good
I would like the bite to be as aggressive as possible though. And i don't mind some brake dust.
Hmm are u sure that's a lifter noise? because it almost sounds like...umm don't want to say it, anyways, have you tried using something that would help losen the lifter? I had a lifter noise in my s52(it didn't sound like urs, not as loud) I used Lucas oil stabilizer and it helped.
