Just a temporary solution to get the wheel in right place:

The pics I promised, it was a great weather to paint outdoors, sunny, warm and no wind:

Hmm, it seems that the chassis is getting ready for the primer! Last weekend we cleaned the rest of the chassis (excl. doorposts and the roof). Found just a couple of small rusty spots which I already fixed.
I'll post pictures by the end of the week :)

    Thanks ;)

Last week I visited at a local paint store and bought 3liters of primer, days are getting warm enough that I can paint the car outdoors.

Today I tested some kind of special grinding wheel which seemed to remove paint nicely ;D

Aaand then I also made an intake flange model, I'll order both IN and EX flanges at the same time:

Alu tanks pretty much completely welded:

Then we move on to something else...
    Draw a rectangle:

..and cut it out. Radiator air outlet location:

Spent few moments measuring M30 head:

Good fit, afterwards I decreased the port size a little bit. I think it's ready for cutting:

    What about my stainless-steel-cat-food-dish-air-filter-adapter?

All jokes aside. This is a badass build.

    E30 Street/TimeAttack (M30 twincharged widebody project)

That photo is of a test fit, just saying. Also that's not an intercooler.

And yeah my theory is definitely different because I would have started with an e36 for grip racing lol. Don't take criticism the wrong way, everyone has their way of doing things. I still think this build is sick.

I dig the 3rd brake light deal, not everyone has deep pockets. Improvisation at its best ;)

Just when you think you've seen it all and can leave r3v peacefully knowing people are only doing things that have been done before, they let another one out of the nuthouse and we get something like this.

Thank you for restoring my faith in insane people.
